Berkeley House is a small comfortable guest house, offering bed and breakfast, ideally situated upon Babbacombe Sea Front with magnificent views across the Downs and Lyme Bay.Torbay.

Front 'premier' rooms offer either sea facing balconies where one can sit and enjoy the breathtaking views or ground floor sea facing with its own private lounge.

Also available, for those who prefer self catering, is a one bedroomed modern ground floor apartment. This is a few minutes stroll from Berkeley House and also on Babbacombe Downs Road, near the Babbacombe Theatre.

Our Guest House is located in the unspoilt area of Babbacombe Torquay, renowned for it's natural beauty. Many of the rooms overlook the lawned Downs and the Devon and Dorset coastline beyond - for guests to enjoy from their own private balconies.

Berkeley House is a five bedroomed family run guest house. All our delightfully decorated rooms are ensuite and although dinner is not served, the acclaimed breakfasts will set you up for a good days sightseeing....

The main town of Torquay with it's many attractions is just a short bus or car ride away.
Walking is a popular alternative using one of the many coastal cliff walks with spectacular scenery and views.
On our website you will see many examples of this splendid coastline viewed from one of our balconies where you can sit and relax with a favourite bottle of wine or a refreshing cup of tea. Whatever your choice, it can but bring peace of mind......

Breakfast at Berkeley House

Served at your table between 8.30 and 9.15am.

We consider breakfast to be the most important meal of the day. Please help yourself to fruit juice, grapefruit segments, prunes and a choice of cereals. Followed by a full English breakfast including grilled bacon, sausage, tomato, beans, black pudding, eggs of your choice and mushrooms.
Alternatively enjoy porridge, haddock, smoked salmon and scrambled egg or a cold platter. (24 hours notice please).
Accompanied by toast and a selection of jams and marmalade, tea or fresh ground coffee.
