The Ansteys Lea Hotel is a gracious Victorian building, built in 1870, and deriving its name from the enchanting Ansteys Cove, once a smuggler's haven, now a local beauty spot, just a short wooded walk away from the hotel.

The Hotel is situated between Torquay's Town Centre and Marina, and Babbacombe Downs with it's magnificent sea views. The nearby village type shops, banks and Post Office are just a level walk away.

Inside, you can enjoy the comfort of our splendid Lounge or unwind over a drink in our delightful gardens or laze around on the sheltered sun terraces which surround our heated outdoor swimming pool.

Because we understand the difference good food makes to the enjoyment of your holiday, we prepare all our menus daily, using fresh local produce.
